PAYMENT & BOOKING POLICY
Thank you for choosing Charissine Creations to be part of your special celebration. We are committed to creating a thoughtful, beautifully designed experience from your initial inquiry through to delivery and completion.
Please review this Payment & Booking Policy carefully before confirming your order. Payment of your booking retainer or payment in full confirms your acceptance of the applicable booking and payment terms.
Payment Methods
Payments may be made using the payment options available through the Charissine Creations website checkout, or by e-Transfer where arranged.
e-Transfer payments may be sent to:

For e-Transfer payments, please include your name and invoice or quote number, where applicable, so your payment can be correctly applied to your order.
All payments must be successfully received and confirmed before an order or event date is considered booked.
Booking Your Order
To reserve your event date, you may:
- Pay for your order in full, or
- Pay a 60% non-refundable booking retainer.
Your event date is not reserved or confirmed until the required payment has been successfully received and confirmed by Charissine Creations.
Submitting an inquiry, receiving a quote, discussing a design, requesting a particular date, or receiving a proposal does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Availability is subject to change until your required booking payment has been received and confirmed.
Orders valued at $150 or less require full payment when the order is placed.
Final Payment
For orders booked with a 60% retainer, the remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the scheduled delivery date.
Your invoice or booking confirmation will indicate the applicable payment amount and due date for your order.
Orders with an outstanding balance after the payment deadline may be cancelled and the reserved event date may be released.
For this reason, orders with an outstanding balance are not accepted for delivery.
Changes to Orders
Once your event date has been reserved, it is held specifically for your order.
Requests to change event dates, quantities, sizes, flavours, wording, colours, designs, stationery, delivery details, setup requirements or other elements of your order are subject to availability and may not always be possible.
Changes that increase the quantity, scope, complexity, materials, production time, delivery requirements or overall value of your order may result in additional charges.
Any additional charges must be paid according to the revised payment schedule provided by Charissine Creations.
Major changes may require a revised quote or updated booking details before work continues.
Cancellation Policy
Your booking retainer is non-refundable because your event date is reserved in our production schedule and time, planning and resources may be committed specifically to your order.
If you choose to cancel your order, payments already made are generally non-refundable due to the custom and made-to-order nature of Charissine Creations' products and services.
In exceptional circumstances, any credit or transfer offered will be considered at Charissine Creations' discretion.
Cancellation of an order does not automatically entitle the client to a refund, credit, date transfer or transfer of payments to another order.
Custom Orders
Charissine Creations specializes in custom-designed work, including bespoke cakes, couture cupcakes, couture cookies, custom stationery and coordinated Signature Experience commissions.
Each order is created specifically for the client, occasion and agreed creative direction.
Because our work is handcrafted and individually created, slight artistic variations may occur while maintaining the overall design direction, quality and aesthetic discussed during the consultation and booking process.
Where reference or inspiration images are provided, they are used to understand your preferred style, mood or creative direction. They do not guarantee an exact reproduction of another artist's or designer's work.
Final designs will reflect the distinctive creative approach of Charissine Creations.
Late Payments
Invoices not paid by the final payment deadline may result in:
- Cancellation of your order
- Loss of your reserved event date
- Forfeiture of your booking retainer
- Suspension of production or preparation
- Release of the date to another client
Charissine Creations is not responsible for delays or cancellation resulting from a client's failure to make required payments by the stated deadlines.
